Hi! I am Adele Manwaring Austin - a Boise, Idaho native. Typical Mormon lady and mom, compassionate, thoughtful, security conscious (I like my comfort zones). I am a streams and mountains girl (as opposed to my California-born husband who is sun and oceans). Appreciate nature, well-written literature, realistic fine art, musical theater and the cooking channel.
Religious, steadfast. Served an LDS mission to Guatemala as a single young woman (1966-1968) and another to Chile as a Senior missionary with my husband (2006-2007). Feel we have LOTS of wonderful, interesting and quirky friends who also like to travel, discuss the world's problems & play games.
Career? I am (was) a librarian from High School till I married and became a mom. Always and foremost I am a genealogist. I love the thrill of the hunt. I love to learn about family history, I love to teach family history and especially- I love to use all the wonderful on-line sources that are available to us in this amazing electronic age! Now, in our retired years my other career is preparing my husband meals he delights in (and requests) and being a grandmother.
I am the Archivist for the John Olaf Forsgren Family Association and will be employing many means of getting all the "paper" at my house into a public format that can be used by all descendants.
